Recipe: Sundried Tomato Pasta Sauce

Sundried Tomato Pasta Sauce 1 Red Onion (peeled and thinly sliced) Olive Oil 100 g Sundried Tomato (chopped) 3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper 100 g Basil Leaves 50 g Parmesan

Sundried Tomato Pasta Sauce

  • 1 Red Onion (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • Olive Oil
  • 100 g Sundried Tomato (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 100 g Basil Leaves
  • 50 g Parmesan Cheese (Shaved)
  • 100 ml Cream
  • Pasta of choice (or gluten free pasta)
  1. Slowly fry the onion in olive oil until soft

  2. Stir in the tomato and balsamic vinegar

  3. Add cream and reduce by half

  4. Throw in the basil

  5. Add cooked pasta

  6. Top with shaved Parmesan cheese
