One of the most frequent dinner requests by the children is hamburger night. I try and do this at least twice a month. I make these simple and easy hamburger patties that the everyone loves.

One of the most frequent dinner requests by the children is hamburger night. I try and do this at least twice a month. I make these simple and easy hamburger patties that the everyone loves. You can make them as thick, or thin, as you like them. They fry up really fast and are even better when cooked on an open fire. As an added bonus, these are 100 % Gluten Free!

Momma Jo’s Easy Hamburger Patties {Gluten Free}

  • 1 kg lean minced beef
  • 1 tbsp dry thyme
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • salt & freshly ground pepper to taste
  • oil (for frying (optional))
  1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients thoroughly

  2. Form the mixture into 6 meatballs and press to the desired thickness

  3. Fry until cooked

  4. Enjoy

I bake these in a preheated oven at 200°C for 7-10 min, depending on how well we want them.
