Chickpea Mash
- 4 medium potatoes (boiled )
- 2 cans chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
- 1 heaped tsp wholegrain mustard
- 1 tbsp chopped chives or coriander
- Water (as much as necessary to reach the desired consistency)
- 1 tbsp plain low fat yoghurt (optional)

Mash the potatoes and chickpeas in a bowl

Add some water if necessary

Mix in the mustard and herbs

If you eat yoghurt, add it to make the texture a bit more creamy
Tip: you can even add some nuts or seeds to this mash. Try something like linseeds which won’t change the taste of the dish but are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids.
