Jo’s Easy Meat Balls

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 medium onion
  • 60 ml oats
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 tsp spices (any meat spice that you enjoy)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  1. Fry the onions in a little oil, till brown

  2. Then add to the mince

  3. Add the oats, salt, pepper and spices and knead till all ingredients are well combined, then add egg and mix through

  4. Use two sheets of wax paper, place one on breadboard, make meatballs and place them on top of the wax paper

  5. Once finished cover with other sheet of wax paper and place in the freezer for 15 min to set

  6. Then place in frying pan with hot oil

This mixture can also be used to make burger patties.
