Recipe: Ginger Chicken

Ginger Chicken 4-5 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (cut into small pieces) 10 ml fresh ginger (grated ) 1 clove garlic 1 tsp sugar ¼ cup fresh parsley (finely chopped) 60 ml soy sauce ⅓ cup

Ginger Chicken

  • 4-5 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (cut into small pieces)
  • 10 ml fresh ginger (grated )
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup red onion (finely chopped )
  1. Combine the ingredients in a bowl, leaving out the chicken and onion

  2. In a non-stick pan, cook the chicken pieces to the point before browning

  3. Add the liquid mixture, making sure that all the chicken pieces are covered, and cook until the pieces are lightly browned and tender

  4. Remove from the pan, and add the onion before serving for a fresh crunchy texture

  5. Serve with rice or couscous
